Headlight Restoration

The headlight lenses are among the most stressed optical components on your vehicle.

• The surface of your headlight lenses is subjected to additional stress due to the sun's UV rays, sand, and small stone chips.
• Fine cracks form on the outer layer.
• Yellowing occurs
• Cleaning with solvent-based substances (nitro thinner or brake cleaner) must be avoided under all circumstances, as this will make the surface cloudy or completely destroy it!
• Attempts to process it have already been made, but without success.

It is possible that traces of the old condition may still be visible after the reprocessing.

• Holograms or fine scratch marks in the sun
• Stone chips cannot always be completely smoothed by grinding, in order to avoid negatively affecting the strength of the glass or creating waves in the glass. In this case, a small, soft edge will remain after vapor deposition.
• Porous rubber seals around the headlight, which are mounted purely for visual purposes as body seals (not the sealing of the headlights themselves)
